Work-at-home Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Epdmcoatings.com is looking for two individual to work approx. 30-35 hours per week to assist in servicing our existing customers as well as grow our business. Hours are flexible and training is provided. You will be provided with a voice over IP phone that is attached to your home modem and computer. This is a work at home opportunity for seasoned customer service person or even someone with previous experience looking to get back into the workforce or out of retirement. (self-discipline is a must) You will be answering incoming calls and answering questions about our product from roofers, contractors and the public all interested in our roof coatings we sell worldwide. This is NOT an outbound sales job. You will be taking phone orders and processing them through our internet-based system. Prior roofing or construction sales experience helpful. The candidates we are looking for must have the following:
Skills and Abilities
- Professional phone presentation
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written
- Detailed oriented and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Solid experience using outlook, word and excel
- Self-motivated.
- Seasoned sales, customer support or call center experience
- Must have high speed internet and computer due to the bandwidth of the VOIP phone
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer product questions from in-coming prospective customers
- Process phone orders through on on-line order system
- Competitive research
- Contact customer who have abandoned form our order form to get the order
- Identify customers and opportunities using industry publications provided to you as well as internet research
- Ability to sell the benefits of the product
- Follow up on material quotes from prospective customers
