Can I use rv roof magic only on seams of RV roof & around accessories without coating entire surface?

I'm on a tight budget. Can I apply rv roof magic only on seams, around roof accessories (A/Cs & vents), & other areas of concern rather than to 100% of the roof? Is there any additional special prep needed if not covering the entire roof? Thanks.

you can as long as you have isolated the leak area otherwise i would suggest coating the entire roof
