I have a built-in gutter that is leaking at the point where the bottom of a valley flashing, which is metal, meets the gutter lining which is some sort of rubber. The lining near this spot is in a bad shape, causing a leak (I've done some temporary patching using cement). The rubber is just tucked under the flashing without any sealant, and this opening may also need to be closed.

I wish to cover this area so water can flow smoothly into the gutter without getting under the flashing. How should I do this? I'm thinking of using seam tape of some type and then covering the metal, the tape, and the rubber with Butyl liquid rubber, Is this ok, and do I need a primer?

How do we make sure a warranty is applicable after RVroofmagic application?

Roof bubbles present one month after application

I applied the RVroofmagic to my Heartland Trailrunner one month ago. I still have bubbles throughout the roof. Most are about 1 inch wide and several inches in length. It looks like the original roof bubbled after the RVroofmagic was applied. I live in Florida so the weather shouldn’t be a factor.

20 year old EPDM roof on 34' RV. Purchased this year. the roof looks in fairly good condition. the black is starting to show through in places but there are no rips or holes.. I have some repairs to make on the roof and want to wait until spring.. 2 of the repairs will involve replacing rotted wood, the rest will be slitting the rubber roof where it has lifted to apply glue (mostly around the edges), I've already recalked where necessary with Dicor self leveling calk to protect for the winter. I was going to apply 303 aerospace marine sealant to the roof for further protection for the winter but now im thinking that it may not be a good idea. If i use 303, will i need primer? From your information and photos, it doesn't appear that your product is used that much on rolled asphalt roofing or am I mistaken? There has been no coating applied previously to this flat porch roof on my home so I would hate to use the wrong product. Thank you.
