some parts of my rubber roof are loose ( not adhered to the wood) what do I do with those areas

Some parts of my rubber roof are loose ( not adhered to the wood) what do I do with those areas . It is not torn, its just floating . I would have to cut it open to adhere it to the wood.

Yes we do suggest first an oil based wood sealer and the two coats over wood
