Will I need to apply new lap seal caulking first before applying rubber coating over entire roof?

My RV's rubber roof has dried cracked lap seal caulking. I'd like to apply new coating over the entire roof, but would like to know if I need to remove the old caulking, apply new caulking and then apply new roof coating.

if the old caulking is loose yes remove and you can use the rubex caulk on our order form in its place
