The fabric is used to reinforce seams. The process starts with first painting linear line along the seam then impregnating the fabric into the coating. You let that set up for approximately 24 hours. Once it has time to set up you are then able to recoat the entire area and as a result of the tape you are encapsulating it over the epdm never to be exposed to the elements
